Do not become a left or right sided Karateka. You should never just walk through these techniques. They should be done with full focus and power EACH AND EVERY TIME.

Number 7 begins in a Ready Stance step wide to the side (double shoulder width) into a lunge position. Numbers 9 and 15 begin in Seiuchin (Horse) Stance and cross step to the kicking side.

All other techniques start in Ready Position and step into a Seisan Stance
